[Rikku is wandering happily, Santo in tow, looking at anything and everything that glitters in the windows. She's a few millimeters short of pressing her face to the glass of the nearest jewelry stall, green eyes wide and sparkling almost as much as those diamonds.]

[They'd ordered two pizzas--one with everything on it (just for Santo) and a Hawaiian pizza for them to share. She knew from experience that Santo could handle an entire pizza by himself. It kind of came with the territory of not really having a stomach. She still tried not to think about where he put it all, even after all these months.]

[Rikku doesn't look at him because she knows, from experience, that if she does, she'll totally lose her appetite. So she keeps her eyes on the other pizza and takes a slice, starting to munch happily upon it, ignoring the noises Santo's maw is making.]

[It was Santo's turn to pick the movie, but Rikku couldn't say she was displeased with the choice; she had never really been into the sappy, romantic kind of thing (even though secretly, she was the girliest girl that ever dared to be a girl), and she was okay with the random-explosions-and-ass-kicking kind of film. Santo had picked the latter. They were waiting in line for drinks and popcorn and candy (she had promised herself not to ask for one of each kind of chocolate), Rikku rocking on her heels and people-watching as they moved slowly forward.]

That wasn't too much, right? Right. The Al Bhed carefully scrutinized the choices in flavor, tapping a finger against her chin as she deliberated.]

[Parked in the borrowed Jeep (yes, she had just borrowed it, she'd give it back on the way home, really), Rikku looked up at the stars with Santo, thinking about how this could be almost the same sky that she remembered from Spira, even though that was totally silly and cliché. But it was kind of comforting, knowing that maybe Yunie and Paine and Gippal were seeing what she was right then.]
