It had been a while since she had gone out like... this. All dressed up with no weapons concealed on her person, no ulterior motive. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy such things, it was just that she never seemed to have the time. The fact that she'd made time for Scott, well. He was a friend, and was obviously going through a rough time, without Emma. Of course, that was what she told herself.

"Thank you," she replied, stepping lightly onto the curb. "You aren't half bad yourself."

Scott appreciated that she had made time for him, although he didn't want her to think he wanted her there just for support. His talk with Rachel had been emotionally draining, yes, but Scatty was a very good friend and he very much enjoyed her company.

"You're welcome," he said, smiling at her. "I think you'll really enjoy the play."

The redhead nodded; it had been a while since she had seen it. Of course... "The last time I saw this show was right after it came out, to be honest. Even then, Oscar Wilde was a genius." She was glad they weren't seeing Shakespeare; how could she bring up that in her world, the greatest writer the earth had ever seen was still alive? Well, perhaps not for long, but she wasn't going to dwell on that. It wasn't as if she could go back on her own just to check.

"And yet, everyone here is looking at me as if I'm the one robbing the cradle," Scott said with a hint of a smile. Not that this was a date, but still, it might look that way to someone else and Scathach looked at least five years younger than he did, if not ten.
