Ordinarily he would have talked to Osborn sooner, but following up on the other chaos that had ensued on the night of his arrest had kept Jack busy until now. The need was still real: the information on his conversation with Cavil made it clear that Osborn had given the killer access to a research facility in Washington DC. Besides the need to apprehend Cavil for the murders he'd committed, that facility was likely his next target. With this in mind, Jack had his serious face on when he approached Osborn's room.

"Norman Osborn. We need to talk."

"Yeah, I have a pen," Jack said as he took one out. "Tell me what you want to write and I'll write it for you." Like hell he was handing a metahuman mental patient anything with a pointy end. Jack knew firsthand that the difference between 'writing utensil' and 'improvised stabbing or suicide implement' was all a matter of perspective.

His expression soured only slightly, but without missing a beat, Norman gave Bauer the address, enunciating slowly. When he was done, he met Bauer's eyes and smirked.

"Did you get all that?"

"I got it." Jack nodded, his face impassive. "Thank you Mister Osborn, you've done the right thing." Although probably for the wrong reasons. He pocketed the pen and held out his hand for the transcript, ready to leave. "I'll come back if I have any more questions."

"My office is always open," Norman said, smirking at his own humor. His annoyance had mostly passed -- he'd given away the location at no expense to himself, really. Cavil hadn't come to his help, so there was no reason Norman had to protect him. If the job wasn't done yet, then Cavil would just be out of luck.

"Have a lovely evening, officer."
