"Thanks, that's a lot more pleasant than having to shoot 'em," Bucky said. He'd gotten there a couple minutes ago, and mostly contented himself with yelling at people to move away in a calm and orderly fashion With decidedly mixed results. These people lacked any sense of military discipline. Or much discipline at all.

"Look, there's enough square feet in this city for all of us if we just don't clog up the streets."

Abby doesn't seem to be paying attention to anything going on around her anymore. She's staring, off across the square where the other superheroes have been combating the rampaging Trauma. She stares, wordless for a long moment as her expression shifts into horror.

It's like a horrible stunt out of a bad action movie. A truck is flying through the air towards a writhing sea serpent-- Terry-- but that's not all. Wolverine, on a motorcycle, going on a crash course for the creature's head.

Abby screams.

"They're going to kill him."

When Door finally, finally manages to find Abby - she doesn't understand how it took her so long, there weren't that many girls flying on clouds in the middle of the square - Abby was screaming, terrified, and staring at the monster at the other end of the square. Door grabbed onto Abby's arm and squeezed, turning her around to look at her.

"Abby, forget the plan!" she shouted. "We can handle evacuating! Go help him!"

The girl's screams surprised him, but he keep focused, checking that she wasn't being attacked before turning his attention back on the crowd. They weren't moving fast enough and knowing there was no consequence for his magical use, nothing to stop him from making this easier, he quavered for a moment.

No. He would not use an Unforgiveable here. The next spell, a Cheering Charm, wiped the frightened looks from the faces of several and they happily started to move.

Abby hesitates, staring at Door with panic in her eyes before she seems to gain a little control over herself-- enough to get her cloud collecting around her feet. Soon, she's airborne, flying to her teammate's aid.

Hiruma ignored the monster. If he didn't, he'd probably be too distracted to do his job, which was snatching the cameras from people and crushing them in his claws, as well as snatching people who were hurt.

Occasionally he would land and herd people as best he could away from the mess. He looked back; it seemed to be settling down, but Terry was in danger of getting seriously injured, it seemed.

He hissed. He couldn't worry about it. He was a big monster, he'd be fine.

He had stupid people to herd.

First things first. Civilians were the number one priority - after all, they made the point of being a super hero valid. Jubilee, thankfully, had a lot of experience with this.

"Come on, people, move it, move it! Super heroes at work here!" Just like old times. "Hey, guys, someone get us a bus driver and maybe escort these people outta here before the big bug thing person mutant gets peckish!"

Selina's worst fear would be easily contained, she knew. But after hearing Logan talk about Jean, the look on his face, like hell would she make him a shadow of herself.

Dressed in civilian clothes, Selina did her best to instill a little order in the chaos, not afraid to manhandle civilians into getting the hell out of the area. Amidst the screaming, she heard a familiar voice yelling and made her way towards a small figure in the crowd. "Jubilee?"

Busy bee as she was, running side to side, the girl almost didn't hear Selina. She only stopped some many feet away, almost tripping at her sudden stop, and turning around. The girl blinked, before smiling and raising a hand in a hello.

"Yo!" She called out, "Selina, right?"

A kid to her right wasn't moving, busy recording the battle. Selina waved her hand through the camera, causing it to erupt in a burst of sparks. Startled, he dropped it.

"Go!" she hissed at him, grinding the smoking device into the pavement with the heel of her boot. He turned tail and ran.

That taken care of, she turned back to Jubilee. "Right." She gave the chaos a quick glance. "Anyone actually have a plan here?"

She watched the thing spark without much of a surprise, but a lot of curiosity. So that was her power. Cool!

Jubes ran back to Selina, while shouting to the people to get the hell out of there fast and without killing each other in the process. The short haired girl stopped and put her hands on her knees, bending over a bit, looking up at the woman.

"Hey, that's the beauty of improv." She laughed in her usual chill attitude, but there was definitely a hint of worry in her voice. "If we could get one or two bus drivers here and get these people out of here, it'd be cool. From my experience, big bad bugs usually don't care much for running civilians and keep an eye on tasty super heroes."

"Don't have the number for public transportation." Not to mention Selina doubted any of them would be willing to drive into the area. Shame. "And the big bad bug is one of the heroes."

A heavyset man barreled through the crowd, shoving everyone in his path out of the way. Selina caught him with a kick to the knee, taking care not to dislocate it. Let him hobble to safety. "Try to keep them from hurting each other and destroy any cameras you see!" she called to the younger girl.

"Oh. Well, plot twist. I can deal with that."

The energy of the girl didn't seem to end. She stared at Selina for a moment after she gave her orders. There was a bit of nostalgia on that. With a grin, she mock saluted her and began to herd the people safely away from the big-bug-who-was-a-hero, whatever the hell that meant. She'd use her powers to make a sort of neon lights pointing the way out.

"Come on, people, follow the pafs!"

"Follow the flares!" Selina echoed, guessing that Jubilee meant the lights she seemed to be giving off. No need to give the already-panicked crowd to suspect the mutants they were so afraid of were among them.

She phased another camera and a cell phone into uselessness as the crowd moved past. This section of the mob seemed to be calming down a bit, at least.

The flares. Right, of course. Truth be told, however, that from her experience, most people forgot moral conflicts when they were running for their lives and really couldn't care less about who was a mutant and wasn't. Nevertheless, Selina had a point, "Yeah, flares, that's it."

Jubilee "accidentally" bumped against the people she saw with cameras. That way it looked a bit less conflictual. She ran up to Selina and gave her the thumbs up.

"We should go help them when these guys are far away from the bug-hero-monster."
