Kazuma Kuwabara Interview sable_cloak November 13 2010, 15:35:57 UTC
[At the appointed time, the secretary looks up from her desk and to the door leading to the office. It opens on cue, and Lamont steps into the office.]

Mr. Kuwabara?

[ Wow. Perfect timing. Kuwabara's already looking up when the door opens, and he stands at his name. ]

Yes.

[ His first impulse is to bow politely and his second is to feel dumb when suddenly remembering that they don't really bow in the States. Handshakes. It's handshakes, and so he moves to try that. ]

I'm Kazuma Kuwabara. Thanks for seeing me.

[Lamont smiles as he shakes his hand, and gives a polite bow of his head that is not normal for most Americans to do while giving a handshake. He holds the door for Kwabara and motions into the office.]

Of course. Please, come in and have a seat.

You mentioned that you did research and development in your most recent position. What drew you to the consultation business?

[ He did as told, sitting down and attempting to not look too casual about it. Now... Answering questions. Can't be all that difficult, huh?

He just has to avoid shrugging and saying things like 'I don't know.' ]

I was in high school when I got here. This is... Different from home, but I didn't think it would hurt to try and get experience for different things. [ He hesitates for a moment, because he knows it's going to make him sound dumb and half-assed. ] I don't really know what I want to do. I want to figure out what's right.

[The secretary looks up at the door and a client is led out by Lamont who shakes their hand before turning to the room with a smile.]

Ms. Noble? Please, come in.

[Donna stands up when she sees him exit his office and enter the waiting room. She smiles and extends a hand towards him for a handshake.]

Mr. Cranston. I understand that you're a very busy man and I want to thank you for agreein' to see me today.

[He returns the gesture warmly, holding the door open for her as he motions into his office.]

Of course, I appreciate your interest in the position. Please, have a seat.

From our prior conversation, you mentioned that you worked as a temporary and traveled, am I right?

[Donna keeps her smile in place as she sits down]

Yes. I've been tempin' in adminstration jobs ever since I left school. I actually have a copy of my CV here. Basically, it details all the places I've worked over the years.

[she pulls out a sheaf of paper stapled together and hands it to him]

And, yes. I've been travellin' for... well, I suppose, the past year or so. With a friend.

Vesper Lynd Interview sable_cloak November 13 2010, 15:39:35 UTC
[At 2PM, Lamont steps out of his office and moves over next to his secretary. She speaks quietly, her voice difficult to hear, as is his, as she relays a few messages to him. He tucks the message into a pocket neatly and moves back toward the door, opening it and turning back to the waiting room.]

Ms. Lynd? Thank you for your patience.

[Vesper rises from her seat with a small, confident smile, smoothing out her suit jacket with one hand before stepping forward to shake his hand.]

Mr. Cranston, a pleasure to meet you in person. Thank you for meeting with me.

[He smiles as he shakes her hand warmly, and professionally. He holds his office door open for her and motions inside. A copy of her resume has been printed and it's sitting on his desk.]

Of course. Please, have a seat and we can get started.

Your resume listed Her Majesty's Treasury Financial Action Task Force as your most recent position. Could you tell me a little more about what you did there that might apply to a general consultation position?

[Vesper look her seat, the small smile still in place.]

One of the primary responsibilities of my former position was to authorize and supervise the use of funds for several select government projects. Assessing the viability and effectiveness, along with what modifications would be called for to increase both, of a given project was a standard task in my day to day activities.
