Regardless. This girl seemed much more like Misa and less like Takada, thereby, much more impressionable and manipulable.
That boded well.
Walking up to the girl, he almost immediately caught sight of her attire and how she seemed to be shivering. Raye Penber's form quickly moved to shrug off his coat, coming up behind her to drape it around her shoulders. "Before you ask, I might get cold, but it's nothing compared to seeing a young lady as lovely as you shivering." He paused a moment, then turned to face her with a small smile. "Amelia, isn't it?"

"A-san . . . ?" The name was uncertain, cut off immediately as she noted his bare shoulders as he came around to face her. Instantly she recalled herself from her surprise, wiggling out from underneath the coat. "Mou, it's okay as long as I'm moving!"
The compliment was lost for the time being; she'd been too startled for any such thing to register. Bundling the coat into her arms, she held it out to him, beaming up at him. "Thank you -- but if you're the guest, especially, I can't just watch you get cold. But I'm Amelia, yes! It's nice to meet you!"

Placing an arm around her shoulders, they started up a slow, albeit, steady, pace with her, his other hand on the shoulder closer to him. "Who said I'm the guest? I more or less forced you on this little excursion, don't try and pretend I didn't just to be polite," he laughed once more, placing the coat back on her shoulders with a smile. "Really. I'll be fine."
How annoying all of this really was. Important, for him to establish some good rapport about the place, but still. Annoying. Still, any death glares while she wasn't looking or thoughts of how many more important things he could and should be doing right now were lost to impressive acting skills he'd honed for the last several years ( ... )
