Juston was spooked... seriously spooked as he sat at the back the bus. A heavy backpack slumped over his shoulder. A modified hockey helmet with an ungainly mess of electronics and wires sticking out of it. He was deep in thought, looking seriously spooked.

"Great... just Great. On Halloween even. Leave it M. to head off without me. I would have expected this from Maelstrom or Impulse. And since when did he have super-speed?! I knew he was changed..." Seyfert thought to himself.

The boy flinched as he hastily worked a small battery operated soldering iron. This jury-rigged invention was going to keep Sabrina from getting inside of his mind again, or supply evidence that Iron Man had driven him mad.

He frowned... as the bus came to a sudden stop.

"Who on earth gets stuck in traffic at 2:00 a.m.!" the boy fretted realizing the battle between Juston and Sabrina could be over by the time he got there.

The Gym hall was dark, and the entry foyer was forboding. Pillars rose up menacingly, like an abandoned ballroom taken by some dark creature. There was a large, heavy door within the entryway just before Mello, and it looked like it was extremely heavy. Slowly, however, the doors began to creak open by themselves, revealing to him the entryway into the Gym.

What was inside was a long, dark hall- almost as long as a football field- with similar markings along the floor to boot. Bleachers lined the field, as if spectators would come to watch the fight. The field itself was lit up, but around it was all dark. The field consisted of 2 concentric circles divided by a line across the width of the field- then another line a third out from the edges, and a box connected to it, as if inviting Mello to stand inside it. And in the other box, shrouded in shadow...

An enthroned figure, complete in shadow, save for her eyes- glowing red. The only other thing visible was the tiny doll sitting in the figure's lap, holding something ( ... )

Sure, it was Halloween. Sure, it was already spooky and dark and deathly quiet indoors. But outside? Outside, the sound of screeching tires off in the distance very rapidly became louder and louder until--

VvvrrrrrrrrrrrsssCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE--CLUNK!

One of the lampposts just outside the gym fell onto the concrete with a tremendous crash as the scooter made impact, and a large, red blur rocketed towards the open door.

"TIMELY AND FESTIVE HOLIDAY ENTRANCE TAG-LINE!" Deadpool hollered, sailing past Mello and rolling onto the field. He hopped to his feet after the fourth roll, whipping out an unnecessarily bulky-looking gun. 'KILL MACHIN #2' was childishly scribbled onto the side with white paint.

After a deliciously brief moment of silence, he cracked his neck and dusted off his gun arm.

"I'd give that a four, personally," he mused, rolling his head a little as he glanced over his shoulder at Mello. "Whatcha think, pageboy?"

Sabrina did not like interference. She disliked chaos even more. And when she had even creeped just slightly towards looking at Deadpool's mind and was immediately repulsed (and probably beyond disturbed... what were those yellow boxes she had seen!?), she knew this man would be a problem. So, when he crashed through the Gym, his scooter having given him away before he entered, she had already decided that she didn't like this situation one bit, giving her command telepathically.

**Alakazam, Teleport.**

With a flicker, she was gone, bringing herself to safety further within her compound, near the dollhouse. Looking into it, her usually cold gaze softened slightly, and the doll still in her arms giggled softly.

"I'll play with my new friends when I'm done with those mean men."

Her eyes began glowing red, observing the area within the Gym where she left Deadpool and Mello, and mumbled quietly, "Yes."
Now, she mused, what to do with these two challengers...

Mello had never met Deadpool before; he decided, as he flung himself to one side to avoid the rampaging scooter, that he would soon look upon this moment as the end of the halcyon days. Staring at Deadpool with a well-blended mix of horror, irritation, and a little admiration - because after all, it was a good entrance - he said, "Three point five. You spelled 'machine' wrong."

He glanced around the foyer. "You ready to go?"

Juston sighed a bit as he slowly pushed in the 9-volt battery into the electric device on his helmet a small power light flashing as it kicked on. The device was the text book definition of jury-rigged. He wasn't even sure how it fully worked he just felt strangley inspired to coble it together. He no time to field test it with the many telepaths. But if it worked Sabrina wouldn't be able to get inside of his head. If not, should he get out alive he'd at least be prepared for Kiden's Halloween silly hat party ( ... )

The room Juston had entered was empty, save for a very odd floor panel contraption in each corner of the room- glowing, raised platforms, inviting him to come and stand on them. The floor of the length of the room had odd lines on it, like a basketball court- like some sort of sport was supposed to be played there.

It didn't look like there were any surveillance cameras, and the room was empty apart from the transporter floor panels.

But he might have the prickling feeling, like he was being watched...

Juston breathed in a deep sigh as he stepped into the room. Chill bumps on his skin. Hair standing up on the back of his neck. He could feel as if he was being watched, an icy spine chill in the air.

He slowly walked across the walls. Feeling for anything like a trap door any other way in or our. No cameras at least nothing obvious.

"Get in, get out... don't make a mess." he mouthed to himself. He thought Sabrina may not be able to read his mind, but she may have sensed he was here. He certainly hoped Mello and Deadpool were going to be enough of a distraction to keep him from being discovered. He slowly reached into his backpack retrieving a small portable spy-cam. Affixing it to the wall with some putty. He turned it on before checking to see if the signal, coded to be shielded from Sabrina's com was going out.

He then went to investigate the strange glowing platforms.

The platforms were like square light panels installed into the floor, perhaps 3 inches raised off the ground. They glowed like spotlights, pillars of light shooting up towards the ceiling from them.

There was one in each corner of the room, all identical. They bore no identification.

However, if he walked atop one...
