SUMMARY: So these two guys who've spent like decades annoying each other and only recently have this tiny spider web's thread of possible maybe okay kinda trust are hangin'. Fireworks.

It didn't take a fool to figure out timelines had a habit of mismatching, and he could judge much by figuring out if the good Captain was before or after his little argument with Stark on the merits of superhero registration.

He moved closer, feeling the gun at his hip as a secondary and reassuring presence, nothing he intended to use. It seemed dishonorable to shoot a lost, exhausted and bewildered nemesis. And not half as classy as he was capable of.
