There wasn't anything for Chase to see outside of her house - certainly not anyone waiting in the bushes. Ivy answered the door quickly but unhurriedly.

"Come in, she's been waiting."

Klara yawned a bit as she rubbed her eyes and headed towards the door. Had she heard mother speak to someone?

"Mother?"

Following her into the apartment, Chase glanced around, wincing a little when he heard Klara call Ivy 'Mother'. But he smiled at her anyway, a little crooked.

"Hey, Klara."
