To tell the truth, Wanda felt near miserable, but most importantly bored. At least in her prior stay she was able to wreak havoc with the Brotherhood of Mutants, but there was barely any reason to bring it up to Pietro now when he was spending all his time gallivanting with Angelica and letting her cat sleep on his face. She saw her roommate even less and with each passing day Wanda was tempted to take all her belongings and leave for the Balkan states.

She was lying on her bed, wearing a simple pink dress, and reading Dante's Inferno. Pietro's knock and call made her heart skip a beat. "Come in!"

"Ah, there you are. How was your afternoon?" He sped through the questions with relative ease, even for all his nervousness. Eagerly awaiting her reply, he made his way to the bed and flopped down next to her, peering over her shoulder. "Dante's Inferno? That's an interesting choice for light afternoon reading, no?"

"Boring," Wanda responded flatly. Her heart skipped a beat once more when Pietro joined her on the bed so close by, almost like old times. She kept her eyes on the page, trying to appear nonchalant. "If you approach it a certain way, it really is poetic."

"Hm. Of course." He twisted his neck, stretching and trying to work away some of the exhaustion of the day. It was very tempting to lay down for a nap and let her finish the chapter, but they actually had plans for the evening. "Do you have a particular place in mine for dinner?"
