Kaworu had gone out to buy food once again. There was a particular, discreet mini-market that he'd turned into a frequent spot for his purchases--mostly of simple meals and fruits. Nothing that required much preparation, and that carried a complete instructions on the back.

He'd only covered half of the trip when his eyes spotted a familiar face--but not anyone he'd met before, at least not in person. He wasn't one of the memorable strangers that crossed Kaworu's path frequently, either. He recognized that face from elsewhere...

A couple of seconds passed before it clicked: The Network.

The boy stopped, letting Terry walk by him. There were no moves or intentions to approach him; he simply watched.

He would decide to follow shortly after.

It would be five, maybe ten minutes at most before Terrance had a strange sense of being watched. Maybe it came with being perpetually suspicious -- or being a mindreader. Either way, he paused up ahead on the sidewalk, shoulders tensed and hands clenched at his sides. He could feel the defensive prickle of his powers, waiting to be unleashed on some unnamed threat.

He let a one, two more seconds tick by before he turned sharply around --

"Who's there?"

Truth be told, Kaworu wasn't exactly making an effort to be discreet. He simply walked at a safe enough distance--although a little closer than would have been deemed appropriate for the situation.

When Terry turned around, he simply stopped. Hands in his pockets, Kaworu blinked twice before offering a smile. He was as calm as one could get.

"Hello."
