Maggie normally wasn't here on Fridays, but she'd been checking in compulsively for news of Rachel or anyone else that had gone missing/awry. AND of course while she was here, it wouldn't HURT for her to check on the books in the library...

In a rare moment of actually doing her duty Maggie had gone to the front hall to check the mail bins. She'd been hoping a shipment of books had come in for the library, and emerged from the front office now with a large box in her hands.

The rather tall woman peered around the box as she noticed Echo standing there. "Oh. Miss Echo. Can I help you?"

Ah, right!

Echo turned in the direction of the voice, finding it familiar. She felt a small smile tug on the corners of her lips when she saw Maggie standing there, peering over the top of a box.

"Hi, Maggie," she said, "I didn't know you worked here. Uh, I was speaking to a guy, Warren, over the network about coming here to develop my power and hopefully get it under control. Mostly I'm here, at the moment, to just take a look around the place, find out a bit more about it."

She noticed just how heavy the box seemed to be, "Do you need a hand with that?" she asked, gesturing to it.

Maggie shook her head. "Thanks, but I'm alright. But I'm taking this to the library, I could show it to you. Mr. Worthington's not in the office right now but maybe he'll be back by the time you have a look."

Echo shrugged and nodded, "Sure, I could take a look at the library. I've got a few personalities in my head that love a good book. Of course, they haven't exactly been able to sit down and read one lately, what with all that's been going on, so this should be a real treat for them."

guh sorry, i'm so drowning in school work lately ;_;

[Warren is stopping by the school to drop off some forms and bills that have been paid. He normally doesn't work here during the week, but he somehow manages to cross paths with Echo.]

[Echo smiled slightly at the familiar voice and turned to face the speaker, tucking a loose strand of her brunette hair behind her ear before she replied to his greeting]

Um, yeah. Maggie's been showing me the library. I gotta say, from what I've seen of it, this is one hell of a place you've got here, Warren.

[Warren glances around, looking a little proud.]

It's getting there. This is our third building since we started up here in this dimension; we had to keep expanding. Now we have so much space, though, it really helps with certain aspects of teaching. Powers being one of those things.

[He gestures to the elevator up the hall]
