He was marching from his project. Work was nearly finished, and he was waiting for components. All that slowed him. Most of the staff were gone for the day, which suited him fine. He was, in general, not a people person.

But there was one person here after hours. Curiosity, if nothing else, moved him. He walked into the room, with his usual heavy tread.

"Six fingers. Interesting."

There was a pause. The good doctor's fingers stilled on the microscope before she straightened and turned with a vague air of curiosity. She'd been told that there would be someone else sharing the space with her-- something, admittedly, that had not pleased her at first-- but this would be their first encounter.

As if to admire her own deformity, Angelica lifted one of her hands in the dim light, tilting her head slightly as she spread her gloved fingers apart. Interesting? Perhaps.

"No more curious than that," she answered mildly, gesturing at the man's suit.

He hadn't much cared for the information that there was another person in the lab. Mainly owing to his distinct lack of personal skills. But, at least, there could be interesting features to this.

"Logical."

He moved closer, looking casually at her work.

"Increased dexterity?" He asks, curtly.

Angelica made it her habit to be aware of the other scientists present in the City. Some she found laughable, and others-- well, less so. There were those among their kind who had the makings of valuable allies, while some were more likely to become a threat. She wondered which this man would prove to be.

"Not at first, no," she responded, in that same mild and almost pleasant tone. "But anything is possible, with proper practice." A little pause, as she considered her companion with steady eyes. "I take it you are employed by Mr. Osborn."
