[Lamont is long overdue for a visit to police headquarters. Using Jack as an excuse, he might be able to talk to a few other Imports in the precinct to see what had been discovered, or done about the problems the city and police force were experiencing.

He walks into the main lobby with a pleasant smile on his face as his astute senses sweep the room, noting the nearby elevators. After a moment, he steps up to the main desk and puts on his friendliest attitude.]

Good Morning, officer.

[Lamont can hear a commotion further down the hall as Policeman Jesse is tossed against a wall.

Another nearby cop starts to shout, and he can see from the lobby into the corridor behind that there seems to be a fight starting--or ending--with a blonde woman starting to kick the elevator doors in down the hall]

What the...?

[He feigns confusion at all the noise. As he moves to fix his tie, he subtly loosens the buttons on the front of his jacket. Yes, he did come packing to the City Police Station; he wouldn't have made it past the front desk. Only one gun is with him today, instead of his usual two.

When the woman appears, kicking down the elevator doors, he takes a moment to appraise the situation. Other officers are arriving and if he doesn't need to reveal his hand, he'd rather they show they can take care of their own.]

[he can see her chuck another cop against a wall. A third cop trains a gun on her, but she seems to be ignoring him. Someone else enters, and she talks to him with a broad smile on her face. Even from where you are standing, you can see electric sparks occasionally arc across her right arm]

((If you join in on this part of it, do you mind jumping in on Sands' thread below? It will be easier for me to track action if everyone in the same place posts along the same thread))

[Chris certainly doesn't seem to have any suspicions. From outside it's impossible to tell what's coming. As far as he's concerned, this is actually a pretty good day. He's out with his "boss" and with a cigarette in hand. Simple minds, simple pleasures, as they say.]

You look pleased, Boss.

[The awesome should happen NOW.

No... NOW.

How about NOW...?

Sorry, "Sam."]

[Sitting at his desk, his face snaps up from the paperwork for Lassiter and could smell the burning rubber. He followed her as quickly as he could only to lose her in the process. Navigating through narrow areas with crutches were never easy.]

What the hell?

[He heard the uniformed street cop hit the wall and called for a couple to lend the other a hand. Without hesitation, they did so.

Sheldon remembered the schematics that Jaime had given him and the first thing he needed to do was to find someone that could not only read it but hold Jaime down. It was time to break out the taser. Checking the charge, he didn't want to shoot her but he didn't see much of a choice. Jaime was affected too.]

Jaime?

[He has the taser in his hand.]

[There was another cop unconscious against the wall, and one cop holding a gun trained on Jaime which she seemed entirely oblivious to.

The silicone on Jaime's upper arm is melting/burning slightly, through her shirt as well. Sparks fly from random spots from her arm.

Jaime smiles at Sheldon by a battered and broken elevator door as if she were on a stroll through the park.]

Hey there, cowboy. These elevators are slow today, aren't they?

[does a deep knee bend, clearly preparing to jump into the elevator shaft]

Yeah.

[Sheldon didn't know what else to do at this point other than to take action. He pulls the taser up and without delay, he pulls the trigger and hoped that he didn't miss.]

I'm sorry.

[The smell of the silicon was enough to alert him to call the doctor.]

You! Call the hospital.

[The cop that was stunned at first until Sheldon shouted the order to call finally moved.]

Don't stop for anyone, got it?

[Lamont is already reaching over the edge of the front desk at the command to call the hospital. As the cop arrives, he hands the phone to them, the number already dialed.

The woman appears oblivious to events around her, and he isn't familiar enough with the police department to know if this was an attack, or another brainwashed officer. All he knows is that her arm is sparking, and now another officer on crutches is responding with a taser. He scoots by the front desk, the officers there too busy calling the hospital to stop him.]
