[Note to self: Webpits are the dumbest and most useless thing that could be added to a costume. Other than that, Shego had no problem donning the Spider-Woman costume, but she did have a problem acting all heroic and saving people.

Whatever she was never big on being nostalgic.

So here she is, in Italy, not enjoying herself because of some lame volcano and helping to evacuate people was just ugh and why couldn't she got to Venice or something and enjoy herself.

Heat never really bothered Shego, but it was pretty damn stifling and she found herself following some chick who had water on her and godammit why didn't she think to bring water. She rolls her eyes, and action that can't be seen beneath that new mask of hers, and speaks up, trying her best to hide the disdain in her voice to sound more like her old, heroic self.

Ugh, don't make her gag.]

Hey, you have any more of that on you? I've been soooo busy that I forgot to grab some of my own...y'know...water, and I feel pretty damn stupid about it.

[That Spider-Woman costume was pretty cool, and this chick, whoever she was, almost pulled it off as well as Jessica Drew did. Bobbi had no freaking idea who was under that mask, but she recalled quite vividly that broadcast on the TV revealing this woman to be one of Norman Osborn's Avengers. And here she was now, this impostor Spider-Woman speaking to Mockingbird, and having no idea the history or common bonds that were shared back home. Bobbi could only imagine how angry Jessica would be if she knew someone was using her name and costume once again.

Bobbi smiled though, cordially, politely, pulling another small bottle out of one of the inner pockets of her duster. It was sweltering outside, but damn those pockets came in handy. She offered the bottle to this Spider-Woman with that same bland smile.]

Now don't feel stupid. I'm sure y'all were in a rush to get yourselves out here. If you need some more, or crackers or something, I've got some of those too. It won't do to have folks passing out from exhaustion during the

[Shego looks banging in practically anything she wears, and skin tight costumes had always been her forte. Of course, if Jessica ever pops up and demands her costume and her namesake back, Shego would gladly give it back. In fact, she'd pay the woman to take the unsightly costume far, far away.

She wanted to touch it up. She wanted to get rid of the friggin web pits, but Osborn never seemed to be in the mood for putting a creative spin on anything. Ripping off names, ripping off costumes...whatever.]

Thanks.

[This time, the pleasantness in her voice wasn't as forced. Believe it or not Shego could be amiable. She takes the bottle and takes a long, gratuitous gulp. Man she feels a lot less crabby now. Her voice is now nonchalant and careless, as though shrugging everything off.]

I'm good for now.

But yeah, big rush. But hey, it's the first time something's happened where us heroes [MENTALLY SHE IS STRUGGLING WITH THAT WORD] can actually jump in and [MORE MENTAL STRUGGLING] help. Instead of, y'know, bitch and moan over the ( ... )

Mm, yes. I know how that is.

[Bobbi took another long sip from her bottle, grateful for this moment to pause and breathe, even if it was being spent with this stranger dressed as one of her friends. If nothing else, this was an excellent opportunity to gain some sort of idea as to just who Osborn had seen fit to carry on under the Avengers banner.]

So this is your first time working something like this, huh? It's hard work. How're you liking it?

[May had never been an international superhero before. Even on the one outside of the US family vacation to the relatively mundane Canada she'd been too young, her powers just hadn't manifested yet. It wasn't like Spider-Girl was the Avengers main weapon of choice, either, meaning the most exotic heroics she'd gotten to back home was Jersey.

Not that she was glad that she'd changed that here. A volcano with innocent people being hurt would never be something to look for the bright side it. It was just, well...could she help that optimism was a family trait? Spider-Girl had gone international. What a way to really break in the new suit ( ... )

[Well this was different. First, a woman masquerading as Jessica Drew and now another girl pretending to be Spider-Man. What's next? The Scarlet Warlock? Iron Maiden? Bobbi almost rolled her eyes, drawing a fresh bottle of water out of her coat for the girl, raising a brow as she handed it to her.]

Nice costume you got there.

[May's first reaction was to glance at her back and make sure the doohickeies weren't waving around on their own or something. With that checked off, and a quick glance that it was still in normal colors and the camouflage wasn't going wacky, she could on shrug as she took the water.]

Uh, thanks. It's taking some getting used to, actually. Spandex's murder on the thighs, but I always knew where I stood with it.

I know how that is. I got so sick of it, I cut the pant legs off, ran around in a glorified one-piece. With sleeves. It looked really terrible.

[Bobbi chuckled softly, keeping her eyes trained on the girl.]

I know a guy back home who dresses a lot like you do.

[ Of all the useful people who might have shown up to help out, it is highly unlikely anybody went, 'hey, I know! We need a fourteen year old boy in glasses!' But here is Timothy, squinting and shading his eyes with thoughtfulness. He looks at the evacuees, at the people helping, at the volano in the distance, and then at the sky. To nobody in particular— ]

Do you think we could use some rain?

[Bobbi raises an eyebrow, looking around to see who was being addressed. Seeing no one else paying particular attention, she shrugs mildly.]

It sure would cool things off. And I bet it'd keep the ash down a bit. My concern would be the planes getting out though. If it got to rainy, they may not be able to take off.

It would feel nice though.

[ He looks to Bobbi when she speaks, nodding in understanding. ]

Thanks. I figured there was something I wasn't thinking about.

[ Resting his fist against his mouth in thought, Tim makes the kind of noise people make when they're indecisive about something. But Tess's advice is on his mind. And Zatanna will be able to stop the rain if it gets too heavy. ]

Light rain. I can do that.

[ He looks up to the sky now. Dissolve into the air. Reform slowly, exuding water so high up the chill makes him shiver down below. Draw in a breath, gathering others...

It happens so gradually it may be hard to notice, but over a period of time — during which Tim simply stares intently at the sky — clouds gather. ]

[And as Tim stares at the sky, Bobbi stares very blatantly at him. He was a peculiar one, and she had half a mind to ask what the heck he was even doing here, being so young and all. But the people of the countryside could use all the help they could get, and who was she to get on his case.

Then, of course, she noticed the gray clouds gathering above them. Eyebrow raised, she pushed her sunglasses up to the top of her head.]

Huh. Looks like rain.
