Juston still had a subtle look of melancholy in his green eyes. He just couldn’t get excited about yet another school year. Not now, not here in the city. There was also something unshakably weird, yet sad about meeting Duck again for the second time. Still he had to put his best foot forward. He flashed a polite, albeit slightly forced grin at Fakir.

“Hi…” Juston said. Juston was wearing a red work shirt and a pair of jeans that appeared to have been through some better days. His hair was looking a little shaggy and unkept. “So where do you want to hit first?”

Fakir didn't look much better as far as clothing was concerned. He still hadn't gotten out of his habit of only dressing well when he had to perform or go to school.

"The book store, probably," Fakir said as he settled his bag more securely on his shoulders. "There's a place nearby that sells stationery and school supplies this time of year. Duck will get bored of that quickly, though, I'm sure."

"I heard that!" A spiky mop of red hair peeked around the edge of the bedroom door, and Duck stuck her tongue out at Fakir briefly before practically scampering out into the hall. "I'm not bored by everything that's not dance, you know."

Juston paused for a moment jumping as he heard Duck chirp in slightly startled. His wide green eyes went wide for a moment his lips contorting a bit giving a rather odd expression almost as if he had seen a ghost.

He paused for what seemed like a small eternity before finally speaking up. "She's right..." almost instinctively speaking up for the younger girl.
