[Schrodinger, being a product of scientific research, was not stranger to setups like Angelica had prepared, nor was he unaccustomed to the poking, prodding, and cutting that would inevitably occur. He really didn't mind, in fact, it was kind of fun, if looked at in the right light, and Schrodinger was nothing, if not an optimist.]

Now, isn't this a cozy!

[He popped up across the room from Angelica, not wanting to startle her.]

And here I was thinking that we were just going to have tea and chat.

[Jan, meanwhile, had to waltz in the old-fashioned way. He was far, far less excited than Schrodinger was for the inevitable cutting and snipping and general pain that came with mad scientists screwing with you. He'd had enough of it for an afterlifetime with Dok.

He poked his head through the doorway, getting a look at Schrodinger before Einsturzen. And automatically had a moment of "Hello Nurse", eyebrows raising a moment.]

Present.

[Maybe this would be a little more tolerable than he'd thought.]

[ Angelica had a pleasant smile ready for the both of them. She had the type of smile that never touched her eyes and always seemed to bare just slightly too much teeth to be entirely friendly. ]

Welcome. You'll have to forgive my humble facilities. [ She gestured at the single operating table. ] I'm afraid you'll have to take turns. One of you will assist me while I perform the procedures on the other.

[ She smiled again. Edged. ] Which one of you would like to volunteer to go first?

I will go first!

[He raises his hand then hops up on the operating table. It's not like this is anything new for him, and he's actually looking forward to whatever the good doctor thinks she can find. It would be interesting to see how she stacked up compared to Dok.]

It would be better to let Jan assist and see a superior specimen, so that he won't be tempted to run off!
