[He can't even eat. People being romantically involved with robots is just all kinds of wrong to him. Usually Pietro can stomach it and stay mostly polite, but why make a film glorifying it?]

That's a term for it, yes.

[He would have gone with 'sick', or 'perverse', but awful is just as good and he doesn't really want to make a scene. The beyond disgusted expression probably isn't helping much, though.]

[Is watching the film with bemusement, not sure what to make of it. It's hard to say if it makes it better or not that he's met beings that look worse than that.]

I don't get what's so special about these '80's movies'. Am I missing something?

[ In between mouthfuls of popcorn. ] It's hard to explain, but I think it's a mixture of the cheese - which even this flick has some of, I hate to admit - and genuinely good moments.
