It takes a lot more than a pair of spurs to intimidate Pete; he's an easy 6 feet himself, and pretty obviously in a higher weight class. But Pete's also used to greeting ogres, and walking nuclear armories, and naked women in the station cafeteria. The force here is dull by comparison. God, it's good to see a cowboy hat again.

"Sheriff," he says with a nod.

He's got his professional face on, but his antenna perked up the minute Woody walked in.

"Glad you could find the place."

Seems the two of them share that in common too, because Woody's far too used to the sheer diversity of toy designs to ever really find much this city can throw at him as 'weird'. Some of his best friends are dinosaurs and dogs and potatoes, after all.

"Wasn't too hard," he replies with a dismissive flick of a hand, inviting himself onto the seat opposite-- seats that he actually fits on, now that's odd.

"This city sure is big though."

Back home, Pete calls a dog Sarge. And not because it's his name or anything: his name is Kemlo. And he's clearly never met a potato he didn't like.

"Nah, she's just full of it," Pete insists.

Like cars, cities are apparently women. Well, you can't argue that this one can be a bitch.

"So how 'bout you gimmee the run down on you, an' I'll give you the same on us?"

Woody hasn't known the city long enough yet to pass that sort of judgement on her, so he takes Pete's word for it with a mild snort of a laugh, settling himself back into his seat. He could get used to a place like this station, what with the sheer amount of law men around.

His attention stays on Pete though, polite and attentive, especially when the Captain is speaking. Woody is good with his manners, for the most part.

"Me? Well, lessee here... Name's Sheriff Woody- but you knew that- I've been running teams on and off for a good fifty years and that ain't just upholding the law, that's heading one big family and everything that it entails. Had my Sheriff badge since I was made and never gone against what's right by that. Guess my uh, redeeming qualities are leadership, loyalty, organisation and that sorta thing. Skills are ropin', whippin' and shootin', but not those real bullets, mind you. Don't agree with that."

A pause as he considers all of that and then, "Anythin' I'm missing, Captain?"
