WHO: May Parker, Reilly Tyne and Matt Murdock
WHERE: May's Apartment
WHEN: Backdated to Thursday afternoon.
WARNINGS: Nada.
SUMMARY: May wants answers. Reilly really, really, really does not want to give them. Then eventually Matt shows up to make things even more awkward.
FORMAT: Para to start, then whatever!

Darkdevil had been staring at May's door. For about five minutes.

Not that he was afraid of the door. It was just a piece of wood, and he'd broken tougher things than that. Knocking a door? That was beyond easy. He just... didn't feel like doing it yet. Had to double-check his reflection in the mirror first, yeah. Make sure there were no lingering traces of Reilly Tyne lurking under the surface of his pale, demonic form. Uh-huh. Although, on second thought, maybe he should have come here in costume. It was weird, wasn't it, showing up in a blue hoodie and jeans? Way weirder than it would be to have a talk in spandex. Maybe he should go back and change, and then knock on the door and then spend the next hour or so trying to avoid answering May's questions. Perhaps he could pretend he had to deal urgent vigilante business. Sure. That was totally believable and not even a little suspiciously convenient.

Or he could suck it up and knock on the door already. Hey, he'd dealt with worse! He'd been sick, transformed, tortured, and almost killed. What was sharing the awful truth about brainwashing, body switching and clones compared to that?

Note to self: work on my pep talks, Reilly thought as he took a deep breath and pounded the door.
