[Lorna sensed his magnetic field looming closer, so she took the opportunity to fly out the window to greet him.

[He knew she'd appear if she was in-- that was the way they were. And sure enough, he looked up to see her familiar figure hovering near her window. Squinting and shielding his eyes from the sun with a hand, he smiled up at her.]
