Seras was the first to respond to the scene. She had been just a few blocks over, and was able to arrive quickly. Turning the corner to the the shop she had been expecting to find some gangbangers, or a drug addict walking out of the place. The last thing she'd been expecting was Schrodinger. Once she'd overcome her brief moment of shock she drew her weapon, and yelled."You! Get on the ground now!"

Schrodinger froze on the spot and tilted his head back to look at Seras, a small grin creeping across his lips. "Seras Victoria! Why would I ever want to do that?" He turned on the balls of his feet to face her, hands behind his back as rocked on his heels idly. "To what do I owe the pleasure of you trying to police me this fine night?"

God, he always had to be so smug! Well she wasn't letting him get away this time. Already she had reached for her cuffs, and prepared to spring toward him. If she was going to catch him she had to be fast, and whatever else she did she couldn't let go. "Thank whoever you just stole from. What was it this time? Your fat Major run out of donuts, and he sent you to get more?"

Schrodinger's smile faded away to innocent curiosity. Of course, it was just a ruse, and on the inside he was livid. Someone in the area had ratted him out, and whenever he found out who, they were going to suffer immensely.

For the moment though, he kept the childish innocence ploy going. He knew Seras probably wouldn't buy it, but he certainly wasn't going to incriminate himself on something as lame as this. "I don't know what you are talking about, Fraulein. Those donuts were mine."
