Well, Lizzie, there is a law against hiring children under 15 years of age.

But no one is too young to work! Did you try offering yourself up as a babysitter, perhaps, or something like that? You can't be publicly employed, but I'm sure if you're entrepreneurial enough you can find a way to earn some cash without actually getting hired.

That's what I did! Mowed lawns and sold lemonade on the corner until I had all the cash I needed.
