[Curtis just stares a moment because he wasn't expecting the kitten. When Sofia comes on screen, the grin is back.]

Great!

A good amount has been cut through.

Already? Glad I managed to pick up a bass.

Interested. Like I said. But I've got a few questions.

Fender Precision. Blacktop. [Points the camera at his little music nook, with the new bass on proud display. Just ignore that half that wall is covered with sheets of notebook paper, like he's trying to wallpaper it with poetry. Nothing to see here.] Thanks for the recommendation, mate. Good shop.

S'there compensation? For the artists? I know it's for charity and all. But are you asking 'em to donate their time, or do they get a little something, if they want it?

What are you planning for promotion? What type and size of venue? And is it being recorded, or transmitted? And if so, what's the details there?

[Yeah, it's Business Time.]

[Curtis gives a whistle.] Sweet, man. [Don't worry, he didn't see a thing.]

Err...a bit. Can't promise a lot but there'll probably be some. Plus the free exposure and all that.

That I'm still working on. Talking with someone about providing some help for that actually.

Yeah, I know.

You just need to let me know how big you anticipate this thing being. How many stages you'll end up needing, or if it's going to be hitting up small venues around town-- things like that. You can get the bars involved too- maybe a portion of their sales for the evening can go to the "City Repair" kitty, and the cover at the door can be split and given to the musicians for their time.

I doubt it'll get big enough to need more than one stage. Be a medium sized thing most likely. Good idea about the bars too! I'll ask my boss about what he says about it.
