[The comm sort of bounces up and bobs as it clicks on. Stephen is in his usual dusty kitchen which looks a little more cluttered than usual. There are boxes of cereal, oatmeal, a loaf of bread and other miscellaneous food items on the counter, along with a few canned items. I can't say so with any certainty, of course, I only have is an idea which isn't much like proof at all. But... after four years, if one hasn't familiarized themselves with the antics of certain schoolmates, they're either very thick or very fond of pranks.

Dunno about you, Doc, but I pretty much assume from the get-go that any kitchen is inhabited by uncanny forces beyond my paltry comprehension. Which I guess goes a long way towards explaining my eating habits.

Perhaps you should have the pipes investigated. I'm fortunate enough to be my own landlord, but I'm told others in New York can be quite stingy about that sort of thing.
