[Bellatrix pays attention to her appearance more than usual before she leaves to...to what? Make a good first impression? She honestly doesn't know how to act around him, considering he's a child, a far inferior version of the Dark Lord she's used to.

[Well, from the apartment it's clear he has plenty of magical power, like the one she's used to. It's quite nice looking on the inside, respectably Slytherin and pure-blooded in taste, except for the kitchen because he's still working on that.

He was in the bedroom, adding a couple things to his notes, but he heads back out as soon as he hears her voice. He doesn't look sick in the slightest, just a little restless.]

[She slowly walks through the rooms until she reaches the one he's in, lingering in the doorway as she surveys him. She notices that he doesn't look ill at all.]

Not at all. [He flicks his wand and the papers sort themselves neatly into the drawers of the side table.] I was merely passing the time.

Likewise. [She steps inside, trying not to give off any signs of uncertainly.] You look well.

I'm quite well. I'm sorry if I worried you. [He shrugs a bit and sticks his hands in his pockets.] I would have said something but I don't quite trust the network.

It's fine. [So...awkward...] I take it you're adjusting smoothly to the City?

As smoothly as you might expect. [probably a bit more so, even; this is one of the only times he isn't completely cursing growing up in the Muggle world.] Most everyone has been quite accommodating, other than a few odd looks here and there from some of the natives.

Oh? Have they been bothering you? [She tries to quell anything resembling caring from her voice. She doesn't know how well he receives affection -- and she knows how much his older self doesn't like it.]
