It seems that it has gone from Halloween to Christmas overnight. [ so unsure about this ]

Was that not your companion's goal, to reduce the landdwellers' presence in the waters?

I suppose it would be less noticeable underwater. The stores have already put up their decorations, and there are Christmas advertisements everywhere one looks. It is odd.
