You've learned well, young Padawan. There are a few other things to keep in mind, like how to avoid truant officers during school hours, but it's a decent start.

The first part, however, is easy to work around if you know what you're doing.

If you see a truant officer, avoid them. I thought it fairly self-explanatory.

Oh? And how's that?

More to it than that, if you get to the point where you see one, you're already in trouble. You gotta stay one step ahead, know where they'll be and when, then not be there.

Ties into the fake guardian part. Combine that with a few change of address forms, maybe set them up too much of a quagmire to actually know where you really live, only that you no longer live where you used to.

So you set up a misleading paper trail in addition to a digital one. I suppose that would help.

What, only one?

I suppose you have an endless supply of false leads for them, then.

I keep a file just for this kind of thing. When I need one, I'll pull some prepared misdirect out and give it a go.

It gets almost boring after a while, there's no challenge to it.

But you work for the Mayor. They really haven't noticed?

It must be a requirement that one must be an idiot before they work for the government.

Either that or I'm just better at hiding than they are at seeking.

I would wager their incompetency is the key factor here.

A little from column A, a bit from column B. I know how to play them, they don't know when they're being played.

And these are the idiots running this place. How reassuring.

I think it comes down to priorities, but it certainly shows you how much they care about us.

Of course they don't care. That much was obvious from the start.
