How much would it take to make you kill somebody? Would it be easy for you? What if they killed people? What if they killed someone that you cared about, like your kid?

There aren’t any wrong answers, but I’m going to call bullshit if anybody says that they would never kill. Everyone has a limit.

People whose morals allow them to protect the innocent, but fail to punish the guilty? Nothing but flawed justice.

You can't even consider it protecting the innocent, when the most that their values allow them to do is put a killer in prison, which, with people that capes regularly deal with, only means that they're off the streets for a month before they start killing again.

One fucked up man's life is more important than thousands of innocents, as long as it means the "hero" doesn't get his hands dirty.

And yet, there is a big difference between heroes who are simply too naive or blind to see the truth about their methods, and those who actively oppose it.

Is there really? It's still the same antiquated morals affecting their judgment and filling more graves.

[Not sure if serious...]

I ripped the arms off a terrorist douchefucker who was about to nuke the city that had my kid in it. After kicking some of his friends in half.

Woulda been if he didn't have the trigger for the bomb pressed already.

[Sounds maybe like sarcasm, but this is totally true. Sigh.]

I flew that fucker into space. Boom, got myself killed. Big damn hero, ain't I?

Of course everyone has that line, but it's more about refusing to cross that line. There's a lot of crap in the world. Hell, in a person's own life that makes that line look real tempting, but if you want to walk on the right side, if you want to look at yourself every morning and say "I'm proud of who I see" then you never cross over.

It has to be more than some guy's rule without reason. It has to become YOUR rule without reason. If you kill then how are you any better than those you hunt?

That's actually pretty damn inspiring. Really, it could have brought a tear to my eye. Maybe I'm not any better than other killers, I don't think that I am, but I do know that while I might kill some drug lord or pedophile or whatever, that means they're no longer killing or hurting innocent people.

Funny, except for the part where you're not.

I'm not trying to inspire just trying to give you an honest answer. Do you think I haven't thought of killing someone? Do you think I haven't been in the position where I could and who the hell would care?

Yeah, those scum deserve it, but I'm not playing executioner. I've worked hard to be who I am! It would desperately easy for me to follow the path that was set before me, but I'm better than that. I'm better than him.

A hero's job is to be just that -- the hero.

You sound just like him, you know that? What's so wrong with it being easy? Why shouldn't we be the executioner when not doing it only results in more violence?

I like to think so, yes. Information is important, after all.

Yet you obviously already have your opinion set. Must we really be subject to the chorus of how mean and terrible the worlds are.

You still aren't getting it. I'm not taking other people's opinions into consideration or seeing how awful other universes might be. I don't care about any of that.

I'm collecting info on all of you.
