The colors have improved, too. High definition TV.

They didn't have any colors in '62. And we only had a couple of channels.

We got by. We listened to the radio. Went to the movies, went out.

I can't really say there's anything more worth watching now than there was then, from what I've seen of it so far.

What it sounds like; watching everyday people -- or celebrities -- go about their lives or being put into dumb situations like in some apartment and watching how they act around each other.

I watched the Dick Van Dyke show sometimes. When we were in England The Avengers was pretty entertaining.

Maybe I just have to catch up to modern taste, or something.

There are still fans of those shows around. You don't necessarily have to change your taste to suit anyone else's.
