I've been wondering. Are the beings here that call themselves "gods" really genuine? It seems to me that gods ought to be strong enough to resist the Porter. So then maybe anything here is only a pale imitation, dealing in cheap tricks.

Mm. That being said... Can you kill a god, do you suppose?

[ TERRIBLE THINGS BRO, TERRIBLE THINGS

oh so brusquely: ] Yes, but we've talked about your gods before. They're weak enough to be challenged by mortals.

not that he knows the difference. But here, have a lip curl. ]

Or perhaps it merely requires a strong mortal, or immortal, as the case may be. My people were never truly mortal.

[ nor are mine HNG CAN'T SAY THAT. so she'll settle for rolling her eyes instead (even if he can't see it whatever shut up) ]

I'd like to see you try to face Takhisis. Even imprisoned in the Abyss, her powers would be more than enough to deal with any challengers.

[But he is stalking this post. So it was a god, huh? He'll get to them first just to piss Khisanth off.

And also because he's pretty pissed off too.]

I'm not sure if that's a shame or a blessing.

I, for one, find myself glad that my own goddess can't simply pick up a communicator and speak to me. She's not particularly... kind.

With the title "god", I wouldn't expect so.

Not only that.

Records indicate death for imPorts is anything but permanent. You could back-and-forth a long time.

Are you hurt, Onyx?

I realize that. I wouldn't mind watching the same being die more than once.

No.

The Porter doesn't take kindly to things that call themselves "gods." At least, that's what I assumed. If she can limit them enough to make them incapable of leaving this place, that can't be the only thing she's done to them.
