[The camera clicks on to a screen half-covered by a couple fingers, and the faint click-click of some of the buttons on the phone being fiddled with. Raven can be seen, looking up at the ceiling as she listens to the porters 'Welcome to the City' greeting and toying with the phone it had told her to pick up. She's in 'blonde' mode, dressed in a

Hello, Raven. Charles Xavier isn't here, but his school is. Am I to assume that you attended the Institute in your world?
Reply
...His school? I...no, I'm not. Well, not really.

Ah, well. There is a school, if you'd be interested. We're on break, of course, but the dorms are still open, I believe.

That's hard to believe.

And yet, true. Many things are that way.

[She still doesn't really believe that. Despite everything.]
So do people just...walk around? Being mutants, I mean.

If they so choose, yes. Some natives aren't pleased about it, but there isn't anything they can do without getting arrested, really. Equality became a big thing after 1968.

What happened in 68?

You'll find out.
--I'm Scathach, by the way. It's nice to meet you, Raven.
