Well, I hate to toot my own horn, but the basic principles behind playing percussion instruments aren't nearly as complicated as you may think!

The principles, perhaps, but the practice of playing them may be more complicated than you realize! Staying on beat is the simplest thing in the world on paper, and yet I have played with many people who couldn't quite seem to grasp it!

But yes, there are other blue people. I myself have been this color for nearly thirteen years, and have a colleague who has been for far longer!
