Yes, it was. Not only that, but it has. The technology has been implemented on many patients suffering from acute schizophrenic disorders, and they have come away from it free of pain.

In exchange for funding and a lab for my research, I have agreed to be vice president of his company. This has not effected my duties at the clinic, and I feel that from this vantage point I will be able to best guide the technology out of the hands of those who would misuse it.

I wish I had an answer for that, but I don't. However, I am just as concerned about it as you are. I can assure you that they did not obtain it from myself, or Rossum. I would never allow my technology to be used by terrorists, or criminals.

Say I believe you. Is it possible for them to have developed it on their own, or acquired it from an outside source?

It's likely they had help. There was a former patient of ours here, a man calling himself Alpha, who could have provided them with the necessary knowledge to construct the tech.
