[Someone sounds very somber]

...How do you celebrate Father's Day when you have no Dad to share it with?

You ignore it.

It's a big thing to ignore.

But I've been doing it since I got here, why stop now, right?

Not that big.

Yeah, no reason to. Just another day, I don't see anything special about it.

It is that big. But you're right.

Usually I'll get together with some other friends of mine who also don't have their Dads, and we get together and do something fun to keep our minds off it.

This year, I confess, I almost actually forgot about it, except the Network keeps bringing it up.

...Well. Do you have any ideas for fun things to do?

Hmm... off the top of my head: ice cream, shopping, bowling, city-watching from the top of a really high building, Six Flags, Coney Island, aaand, hmm... for some of my friends, knocking down walls or blowing stuff up in a junk yard. But that can get dangerous.

Still fun though.

You must have had some dangerous friends. [She laughs a bit and just neglects to mention doing things like target practice in junk yards...]

But some of those other things sound cool.

I'm figuring that out, too. This'll be the first time I'm not...

Strange is the nice way to describe the feeling.

How about lonely?

That's how I feel.

That about fits the bill. Even tough girls in masks love their fathers.

Yeah. Really.

...Who's your dad?

Do you wish to celebrate it?

I don't know. I woke up, turned on the TV, and was reminded it was Fathers Day.

And then it felt like I didn't know what I wanted to do for the rest of the day.

Continue your day as you usually would.
