[Static and popping. That is the first thing to come from this new comm, followed by beeps and boops that only come from a robot. And with those beeps and boops comes a flat, very slightly nasally mechanical voice. The voice does not seem to notices their comm is on.]

[Then came another beep, followed by a static hiss. Whether it was the communicator of the droning voice, is unknown. However, there is a change in the robots voice as he speaks again. He sounds...almost insulted.]
LARGE OVERLANDER PRESENCE DETECTED. THE ENERGY OUTPUT IS BEYOND KNOWN LEVELS...
[A pause, followed some whirring sounds.]

However, the silence is broken by static and a long beeping sound which indicates some kind of process being done - and then, finally, picture. The video has been activated, and in the screen there is only a glowing red pupil staring at the screen under what looks to be a blue and grey helmet. There is no emotion in the eye.
The mechanical voice speaks again with a hint of smugness evident even under the artificiality of the tone.]
