Maza here. I know we've had a few new recruits in the past few days, so to all of you newbies, welcome aboard.
The Commish stated announced our official position on the HIVE mess, and I want to remind everyone that just because there's something big brewing outside our jurisdiction doesn't mean that criminals are stopping and playing nice now.
So I've got a few cases for you all.
First and foremost, Shego. We know what she stole, and have admission of her crimes, so she needs to be in our custody. Now.
I'm more than willing to bet that now that the mayor in LA told us what he's after, someone's going to try to get it from the Porter and hand it over. We're going to increase surveillance there. Who wants to go snoop around and see what they can turn up in the Porter building?
We've had a string of murders with various... unusual weapons throughout town. A busker was beat to death with his own guitar and case, an obese man was stabbed in the eyes with one of those plastic bendy straws and bled out, two mid 20s coffee goers with their throats slit by their broken coffee mugs. Plenty of witnesses in all cases, but no story corroborates, which means we're likely dealing with someone who's got powers. No fingerprints found at any of the scenes. I don't know how many perps we're looking for, but nothing's been posted about them on the network.
Pete, what's the status on arresting Weasel for his undoubtedly illegal arms ring?
Jan Valentine seems to enjoy stirring up trouble. Seras, you were on the case with the fake-out blow-up doll "killing", correct? What can you tell us about him?
