There has been some discussion in regards to the police treatment of our suspect in regards to the Joker mutilation case. It's no secret that the police do employ telepaths. Shawn Spencer, upon his arrival, loudly announced that he was a psychic, and he has been working with the police since then. There was no consternation over the force employing a diverse and varied group of people with different power sets. I would also like to assure you that the police do ensure that the Constitutional rights of the criminals we seek to take off of the streets. Our suspect, like everyone else, was questioned by traditional means first and foremost. Due to the extraordinarily time-sensitive matter involved, we used one of our telepaths to get the information. This information is not admissible in a court of law, nor are we going to attempt to be come the "thought police".
