...This is effectively the best idea to ever come out of this network.

I try, anyway.

It's bloody genius, is what it is. We write up the ridiculous stories we all have to put up with and sell them to the masses. Brilliant.

Well, I mean. You can think of it that way, sure. Though I was more thinking of it from the angle of what the heck are kids reading on the buses these days when half the comic book industry is in tatters.

A new comic book... that sounds like a wonderful idea...

I'd like to help, but... I don't have any talent.

[blushes at her audacity to suggest something she could do anyway] Maybe proofread? Or... I could translate it into other languages.

Translation would be great, actually. What languages do you speak? And proofreaders are always important, I can't even begin to tell you the number of comics that get ruined because of typos.

Well... I'm from Hong Kong, and I can write Chinese, English, and Japanese. My written Japanese has gotten a lot better since I've lived in Tokyo for a couple years.

*nods solemnly in response to typos ruining comics*

Oh, wow. Yeah, that'd be really helpful. I dunno how much of a market we'd have in China or Japan, but there's got to be something...

You know, I always did think I'd make a cool comic book superhero.

I dunno, I'm probably cooler.

But you're older, man! I'd relate to young people.

Or something.

Young people that have sentient armor. There's a market out there somewhere.

Hey, I'm not that old, geez. Just. Mostly old. And I was only just out of college when I started in this business...

But yeah, sure. You can relate to the teenage crowd.

Though if we wanted to bring in women we'd probably have to make you a vampire.

So it's true everything vanishes?

Pity.

It is. I've talked to people who've had action figure collections worth thousands of dollars vanish overnight. But I think the one that got me the worst was this little kid whose favourite toy just. Disappeared.

I suppose it's best to learn that life isn't easy at a young age.

I have little sympathy as I've been getting complained at for boxset disappearances.

Ahaha, any idea why? Or what movie you're from?

I think it's a spectacular idea, Kyle.

I'll help however I can, although I'm really only experienced in filing any paperwork that might come up, or the sales portion of it. Whatever I can do.

Someone to deal with paperwork and sales would be a lifesaver. I'm an absolute idiot when it comes to business, so...

Consider it done.
