[ When the voice clicks on, David is already talking, seemingly in mid-sentence. He's far away from it and doesn't sound as if he's addressing anyone but himself-it sounds like he turned it on to say something, and then forgot and went back to doing his own thing. ]

But considering this whole city confirms the theory of multiverses... one of them, anyway, I can't assume to know which... Oh, here we are! I knew I'd left it somewhere. Did I really turn it on? ...Oh yes, I had a question. I believe that I mentioned before how I'd be interested in resuming my old job as a professor-would anyone be able to recommend universities that would be worth investigating? I did a bit of research on my own, but if anyone who has been here long enough would care to aid me in this decision I would be extremely grateful.
