At least a similar one, then. He was confused, his adopted family of sorts betrayed him (and myself as well), even the man he looked to as a brother turned on him, and nearly killed him...

You have my sympathies. I know that it must be a hard time for you.

Look. Ah died a long time ago back home; got stabbed right through the heart and woke up like not a thing happened. Then Ah got told it was possible Ah wouldn't never die.

Ah stewed on that, not knowing if it was true or not.

For years.

THEN. Ah got ported here. In the city, anyone who dies gets BROUGHT BACK.

So Ah KNEW Ah'd be okay no matter what. Ah got mah answers and put something to rest that's been buggin' me for years.
