[ The skeleton is on a rooftop, looking thoughtful, running his fingertips over a crack in his skull that he thinks he got when the bridge was hit. ]

Hrm. I've been thinking I need to go back out West. There are civilians who need help, were flat out attacked or got caught in the crossfire, got flaming shrapnel dropped on them ( Read more... )

Blankets, canned foods, toiletries, infant formula, diapers, cleaning supplies.

Anything and everything would be welcome.

I'll see what I can do.

[He'll probably be dropping off, at some point, a little of each. Though the food choices might be...odd.]

It's a hat, you see. Quite an unassuming one at that; I picked it up from a street vendor, and he assured me that nobody would pay it any undue heed.

Magic, naturally, is key. It's heavily enchanted, so as to draw out illusions. Rather than change you, it will change others' perspective of you; your appearance will become malleable, and who soever you meet will see what they expect to see. In most cases, a person of flesh and blood. Of course, if you come across one who doesn't possess the soundest of minds, and expects to see a skeleton, then that's what they'll see. Similarly, if for some reason you gave an individual the impression that you consisted entirely of bone, then the illusion would fade.

I wouldn't recommend wearing it at all hours of the day. Magic can be quite heady, you know.

Ah, your efforts are greatly appreciated. A friendlier perspective will be a good deal more constructive to helping folks who are already a little tweaked.

I'm good on my word, Mademoiselle Thropp. If you need to cash in while I'm gone from the City, I'll be there.

I'd like to do what I can to help with this, at least. Is there anything in particular you think you'll need?

There's the practical stuff like blankets and food, but the kids would probably be appreciative of some toys.

That I can do. Where do you want them dropped off?

I've got a van parked at [insert street], near the MAC. I should be down there to greet you and everything.

Victor's a little less of a mouthful. ... how long have you been here?

Uh. Almost a month now, monsieur.

[ Hesitating uncertainly, wondering why he was speaking politely to a boy. Sniffing him out with a tingly skull. ]

...may I ask who you are?
