Well now, isn’t this nice? Tony Stark can’t get heroes to follow him in my world either. Of course, he doesn’t quite go so far as to start kidnapping them and forcing them into hero duty. He does put kids in jail without a trial though.

Yes, I’ve seen the claims that it was a sentient suit of armor that did all this but really, can we be so sure? It’s not like this would be the first time he lied on such a wide scale. God knows he claimed to not be Iron Man enough times when he really was. Setting up a robotic suit of armor as the fall guy or gal wouldn’t be a big stretch of the imagination.
