Simply put, sir, the HIVE is the logical endpoint of the flaws in America's character, taken to their extreme. Corruption, decadence, depravity, they all flourish there, the result of the pathetic weakness this universe's version of America has displayed. It is a land populated by criminals and deviants, with few or no true warriors among them. Striking it would be a pleasure even if it didn't fit into my wider aims.
Essentially, this den of thieves raided the City earlier in the year in an attempt to steal the machine that brought us all here. Judging by what I know of this engagement, their transport of choice is a sort of high-tech zeppelin, and their shock troops take the form of inhuman mutants, with abilities comparable to those displayed in the City. I do not doubt however that there are more surprises awaiting me and my force once we venture in there! It's going to be really exciting to find out exactly what they've got.
Initiating war against those who are nothing more than taint to this planet. A painful death, for them, would be a gift from the gods. Perhaps you can at least provide them with that. Or if not, consider this an offer.
Additionally, I would be interested in seeing if there's anything worth scavenging there.
They certainly do have some interesting capabilities. We won't be staying long, but I'm sure it will be a most educational time for all involved!
Most of the force will be dominated by those who think themselves heroic and will be fighting according to their self-imposed limitations. There is a team, however, where you would have a far freer hand, sir- a sort of Einsatzgruppen. I daresay you might even enjoy yourself!
