This city is an absolute mess.
Who is to blame, may I ask? Mutants, of course! It is always mutants. Hah, and before anyone defends by saying it was a giant lizard, may I ask how it got that way? They always start out small, then make themselves more powerful. A creature named Rahne Sinclair may be a good example of that. I remember that girl. She changed herself just because she craved the power, and then she attacked like a rabid dog! So, so similar. Experimentation on mutants only makes them worse than they already are.
This is the same thing. That creature did that to itself, then it destroyed everything!
I suppose the "heroes" may say they assisted, evacuating and trying to save the city. But only from something that was your own mess! Simply putting on shows and trying to convince the public how good you are. I would be surprised if this had not been some PR scheme to do just that. Haha, but I am on to you!
Despite all of the powers you have been given, humans are still the ones with strength. I will be rallying many of them together and we will stop this madness. Together we will make the city safe again and hopefully mutant free. I already see that more and more are flocking to see just how right I've been all along. Unfortunate that such loss is what had to open their eyes.
