Oh bless you! I took Pocket Holmes with me to see Iron Man 2 yesterday and I think he would have enjoyed it all much more if he'd had pocket Watson with him (to hold hands with in the darkness of the theatre?)
I printed your Holmes out onto photocpaper and backed him with lightweight cardboard (for credit I cut out your title and signature and attached to the back), he's quite a sturdy little fellow when you do that!
Off to print out PocketWatson so that Holmes will no longer be alone and lonely. These are brilliant---sorry about misunderstanding the credit before. Your renderings are every bit as adorable as Sadynax's and I love the thought of having the pair secreted away in my pockets or bag as I go about my daily business. Life just seems that more secure, you know?
lol, oh darn. Sorry, I would have posted it sooner if photobucket wasn't acting up on me.
lightweight cardboard, why didn't I think of that? hahah thanks so much! It makes me so very happy when I hear that people are using them and loving them. :) It's alright. hahah
Having these two along does offer some security, doesn't it? Like, if something goes missing, you can be like: "Not to worry! I have just the men capable for such a case!" and then whip these two out. lol
It did Pocket Holmes good to be alone and self sufficient for a while--not to worry!I've had my own battles with Photobucket!
Happy to help out with the light cardboard idea!--I was thinking of laminating or something to make the glossy photo paper more solid, then realized I had a sheet of the thin cardboard and gave that a go! Works great!! He could practiclly take on Dredger now! LOL!!
Exactly!! I'm always losing stuff in the abyss that is my purse, so having Holmes and Watson there to keep an eye on things and "be on the case" if something does go missing, is just that much more reassuring!
I love the whimsy of these, I may be an old lady, but I enjoy the fun stuff like this in fandom so much! We need more to make us grin and "indulge our inner children"! Thank you for such a wonderful idea and sharing it so freely!
hey, don't worry about how they turned out in slightly different styles. if you think about it the smoother lines fit Watson, and the more jagged ones fit Holmes. perfect.
