Anatoly laughed merrily as he accepted the bottle. "Of course not, Sascha. I was only waiting for you to come back so you could properly witness this brilliant move." With a flourish, his knight swooped down to capture one of Lex's rooks.

Lex didn't even blink as his rook was stolen. He considered for a moment, cocking his head while taking the bottle back. As he drank, he used his bishop to take Anatoly's other knight. "Your brilliant move or mine?" He said with a smirk as he placed the bottle on the table next to the board.

"Mine," Anatoly said shamelessly, undaunted by the loss of his knight. He had a plan, a cunning one, and Lex was just falling into his trap. "You will see before long."

He contemplated the board for a few moments then moved. Just a few more pieces to get into position, and he'd have Lex in check. That is, if they didn't get distracted by the vodka.

Without the vodka, Lex might have figured out Anatoly's plan sooner but he was too preoccupied by the vodka and how Anatoly was just glowing from pleasure. He gave the bottle back as he contemplated his own move, glancing up at his opponent. "You have a brilliant plan huh?" He teased as he finally moved.
