Turn away from the McDonkey

Once upon a time my mother suggested that I should start work at McDonalds. "Sure", I said, "sounds fair". Little did I knew what was awaiting me, and now I shall tell about a few of these.

The local "McDonkey" (out of two) which I worked at was shaped as such: There was an entrance from the parking lot, to the left of the entrance the "working area

did you at least get a discount working there? There are some days when nothing is nearly as good as McDonald's Chicken McNuggets. ;)

Nope, it would cost just as much as for any customer, which takes us to another interesting point of the aspect... I earned just enough to buy a bigger meal every our or so... That is, they are allowed to pay lower than minimum wage for teens! They got their own law for it!

Then again, do they do veggie burgers? I have no idea. I seem to recall they do fish if you eat that.

They have started with vegetarian alternatives. But I haven't heard of that being common elsewhere. Perhaps it is a desperate attempt to win back their lost parts of the market.

yeah, mackies really sucks big time, but i can't help taking a happy meal home every now and then.
