Turn away from the McDonkey

Once upon a time my mother suggested that I should start work at McDonalds. "Sure", I said, "sounds fair". Little did I knew what was awaiting me, and now I shall tell about a few of these.

did you at least get a discount working there? There are some days when nothing is nearly as good as McDonald's Chicken McNuggets. ;)

Nope, it would cost just as much as for any customer, which takes us to another interesting point of the aspect... I earned just enough to buy a bigger meal every our or so... That is, they are allowed to pay lower than minimum wage for teens! They got their own law for it!

Man, that blows. I hope you stole heaploads of food.

Then again, do they do veggie burgers? I have no idea. I seem to recall they do fish if you eat that.

They have started with vegetarian alternatives. But I haven't heard of that being common elsewhere. Perhaps it is a desperate attempt to win back their lost parts of the market.
