I'm in Las Vegas for a few days for my company's annual sales kickoff (SKO). I've quipped before that these events are marathons, not sprints. One has to pace oneself because SKOs a few days of long meetings- death by powerpoint-plus long evenings, potentially very long evenings, of curricular and extracurricular activities. For several years now Hawk and I have celebrated our birthdays with one combined birthday party. Our actual birthdays are a few weeks apart so it would be tough to have separate parties for each.
