I'm the Marryin' Kind
I'm now the marryin' kind. As in, I've become ordained as a minister to perform marriages.
The idea came a few weeks ago when two friends asked me to marry them. As in, officiate a wedding to marry them to each other, not engage in some kind of three-way union. Polygamous marriage isn't legal anywhere in the US... though apparently it is, to certain extents, in 58 countries (Wikipedia link).
This is a marriage ministry born of convenience. My friends were originally planning to have a big, fairly traditional wedding with family and friends in May. Coronavirus put the kibosh on that; they rescheduled to September. But resurgent Coronavirus put the kibosh on that, too. About three weeks ago they decided to have a small, local wedding instead and asked me to help.
